An Army of Tasters and Breweries will guide Oktoberfest Beer Tastings

The beer community is preparing to celebrate the traditional Oktoberfest in various parts of the country, and starting September 29 and until the end of October, an army of women who make up the group “Catadoras y Cerveceras de México” (CCM), will be leading tastings free to all attendees of the festivals on the calendar.

This group, founded in Ensenada in 2012, is made up of more than 3,000 women and 50 coordinators from various parts of Mexico and the world and has become a benchmark in the beer world by promoting and participating in various events throughout the year.

Its main focus is to empower women interested in the beer industry and provide a space for learning and support to anyone who wants to learn about this drink.

Their participation in the most prestigious beer festivals in the country has become more and more frequent, being invited to events such as the “Ensenada Beer Fest” or the upcoming “Expo Cerveza México”, where hundreds of attendees have the opportunity to participate in their tastings that They are always free.

Catadoras y Cerveceras de México emphasizes the importance of responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages and has promoted the campaigns “With my glass I look better” focused on reducing the number of disposables at these events, and “Safe Space” where support and accompaniment are provided to people who may be vulnerable during the events.

Guadalajara: September 29.

Ensenada: September 30.

Obregón: September 30.

Aguascalientes: September 30 and October 1.

Toluca: September 30 and October 1.

Metepec: September 30 and October 1.

Cholula: October 1.

Oaxaca: October 13 and 14.

Mexico City: October 20 and 21.

In Ensenada, the Oktoberfest will take place on Saturday, September 30 in the parking lot of the Hotel Paraiso Las Palmas and attendees will be able to enjoy eight tastings from the Casco, Bruer, Canneria, Escafandra, Madre Perla, and Cachonda, Cardera, Chivo Gruñón, and Misioneros breweries; To participate it is necessary to register in advance and arrive on time.
