In 2021, the Provino Committee of Baja California will start the Harvest Festivities in Ensenada with an evening to mark the beginning of the festivities and remembering the origins that gave it importance.
With the Isla del Hotel Coral & Marina as its headquarters, the so-called “30th Anniversary of Harvest Festivities Gala” will take place on Saturday, July 31, starting at 6:00 p.m. An afternoon to pay tribute to the founding wineries of Provino with their emblematic wines: Adobe Guadalupe, Bodegas de Santo Tomás, Casa de Piedra, Cavas del Mogor, Cavas Valmar, Château Camou, Monte Xanic, Pedro Domecq, Vinos Bibayoff, and Viña de Liceaga.
The cost of the ticket is $3,500 MN per person and includes a 6-course dinner by renowned chefs with gastronomic projects in Valle de Guadalupe: Alfredo Villanueva (Villa Torel), Drew Deckman (Deckman’s in El Mogor), Javier Plascencia (Finca Altozano/Animalón), Roberto Alcocer (Malva), Sheyla Alvarado (Lunario) and Vicko Morales (Artio). To complement the culinary experience, there will be the participation of chefs Elsa Olmos and César Vázquez (Troika) in charge of the confectionery.
In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to taste high-end wines from 58 wineries affiliated with the organization in an anteroom just at sunset, the perfect preamble to the dinner offered by the participating chefs.
The Gala of the 30th Anniversary of Harvest Festivities, an intimate event that will allow us to celebrate viticulture as a key piece and complicity with gastronomy, key pieces in the construction of the identity and roots of our region.
